PRE-K
Environment
Our Pre-K program supports your child’s eagerness for learning and expands your child’s existing social skills, sharing and cooperation with peers in a safe, fun, creative, engaging environment. Our classrooms have special furniture, toys and manipulatives to fit your child’s size and growing creativity.
Ratio
Our 1:14 (4 and 5 year olds) teacher-to-child ratio provides each child valuable learning interactions and support as they experience great developmental accomplishments.
Curriculum
Through our Funshine FIREFLIES curriculum, each child engages in a variety of activities that support Ohio’s Early Learning Developmental Standards and their love for learning and exploration of God’s world. Daily routines and procedures give our Preschoolers the consistency they love.
Daily Activities
Every day our Preschoolers have fun and interactive activities that expose them to colors, shapes, letters, numbers, music and movement. Our early reading program helps to prepare 4/5 year olds with the skills necessary for the transition to Kindergarten. Daily reading by our loving staff help foster a love for reading and vocabulary development. Learning stations give many opportunities that support creativity and imaginary play through arts, science, dramatic and sensory play, along with Bible stories and lessons that foster a more caring and loving attitude. Wee Cherish Preschool has an exciting, well-rounded social and academic learning program. Our staff is knowledgeable, trained and loving. Our facilities are being constantly updated and expanded.
