At Wee Cherish Preschool, we serve families with children from 6 weeks to 11 years old who seek a loving, Christian-based childcare center and preschool. Our nurturing environment is designed to foster each child’s growth in faith, learning, and development.
Nestled on a scenic 10-acre property, Wee Cherish Preschool provides an abundance of space for children to learn, explore, and play. With three separate, age-appropriate playgrounds, an outdoor garden, and a soccer field, we encourage children to discover the world around them and grow in a safe, engaging setting.
Wee Cherish Preschool is a state-approved Step-Up-To-Quality provider in Ohio. Our curriculum is research-based and aligned with state standards, offering a balance of exceptional academics and extraordinary fun. We are committed to providing a well-rounded education that nurtures both the mind and the heart.
Programs
At Wee Cherish, we ensure that our programs are aligned with the Early Ohio Learning Standards as well as the Science of Reading. We carefully select programs that will benefit the whole child. We grow our students in the areas of cognitive development, creative development, language/literacy, physical development, science, social studies, and social/emotional development. Currently, we have implemented 5 core curriculums: Learning Beyond Paper, Read It Again, Handwriting Without Tears, Letterland, and Just Us Little Guys Bible Curriculum.
Healthy Meals at Wee Cherish Preschool
At Wee Cherish Preschool, we believe that proper nutrition is essential for a child’s growth, development, and well-being. That’s why we participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), ensuring that every meal we serve meets or exceeds Ohio’s standards for childcare nutrition.
Each day, we provide children with a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack that are carefully planned and prepared by our on-staff Culinary Expert. Our meals are designed to be balanced and nourishing, giving children the energy they need to learn, play, and grow. We prioritize fresh ingredients and wholesome options, creating menus that support healthy eating habits from a young age.

Social Development
We foster strong social skills by creating an environment where children learn to communicate, share, and build relationships with their peers and teachers. Through large/small group activities, student/teacher one on one activities and play; children develop empathy, cooperation, sense of self and belonging.
Physical Development
Physical well-being is essential to a child’s overall growth. We promote both large and fine motor skill development.
We strengthen fine motor skills through intentional activities and material selections. Our spacious campus, including three playgrounds, a soccer field, and nature trails provide abundant opportunities for children to cultivate an active, healthy lifestyle through age-appropriate physical activities, outdoor play, and structured movement programs.
Spiritual Development
As a Christian-based childcare center, we prioritize spiritual growth. Through our “Just Us Little Guys” curriculum, we integrate biblical teachings and Christian values into daily activities such as prayer, songs and biblical stories. We seek to instill in children a strong sense of faith, love, and purpose.
Intellectual Development
We believe in cultivating curiosity and a love for learning. Our research-based curriculum, aligned with state standards, is designed to challenge children intellectually while making learning fun and engaging. By balancing structured academics with hands-on activities, we help children develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and early literacy and mathematical fluency.
Emotional Development
We provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. At Wee Cherish Preschool, we develop emotional intelligence through Conscious Discipline.
