What We Do

Wee Cherish Preschool serves families with children ages 6 weeks to 14 years who desire a loving and caring, Christian based childcare center and preschool.

Situated on a beautiful 10acres Wee Cherish Preschool provides plenty of space for children to learn, discover, explore and grow at our three separate ageappropriate playgrounds, Outdoor Garden, and Soccer Field.

Wee Cherish Preschool is a state approved StepUpToQuality provider that offers a researchbased, comprehensive curriculum that aligns to the state standards for Ohio – it showcases a balance between superior academics and extraordinary fun.

Wee Cherish Preschool uses the FUNSHINE EXPRESS curriculum for our Infant through PREK classrooms and the CINCY Afterschool curriculum for our School Agers. Each curriculum supports and is approved for the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards and ALL of our 15 staff are trained in CPR and FIRST AIDE.

We believe that a child’s preschool years are among the most important years for development and learning. Our curriculum provides consistency and a predictable routine, which is comforting to children, built around a wide variety of activities designed to enhance

  • vocabulary,
  • awareness of patterns and sounds in language,
  • letter recognition, social intelligence,
  • knowledge of printed materials,
  • gross motor skills,
  • fine motor skills,
  • outdoor play
  • and exploration of art and science.

Many opportunities are included in our activities that allow children to learn through touch, smell, taste, vision, and hearing. We know that children learn most when information is provided through all the senses.

Wee Cherish Preschool is also a member of the OHIO HEALTHY PROGRAMS and participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

We serve a nutritious Breakfast, Lunch and a Snack each day that meets or exceeds the meal standards for Ohio Child Care.

Our meals are designed, planned and prepared by our onstaff Culinary Expert with a degree in CULINARY ARTS.

All of these factors, when combined, help your child attain higher academic achievement, and encourage social and emotional growth, which results in children who are confident learners and have high selfesteem.

We also provide an outstanding Summer Camp Program and Before & After School Program which offer a variety of developmental and fun activities for elementary school students.
